Google Pixel 4 – the worst smartphone of 2019

Time goes on, and Google, apparently, does not even think about changing something in some of its industries. For more than 5 years, this electronics manufacturer has been introducing its branded mobile devices to the market, which previously went on behalf of the Nexus line, while the Pixel lineup is now used, but it does not play a special role. Already at the end of 2019, this manufacturer will present to the public a novelty called Google Pixel 4, which has the code name “Coral”.

Today, January 25, 2019, in the popular Geekbench benchmark, a Google Pixel 4 smartphone codenamed “Coral” was discovered. As expected, it is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 8-core processor with a clock frequency of 2.9 GHz, Adreno 640 graphics and an X50 modem, but most likely without 5G support. Thanks to his testing in a synthetic test, we managed to find out that this device has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory.

In the single-core test, Google Pixel 4 scored 3,296 points, whereas in the multi-core test it was 9,235 points. These are very poor results, because even the flagships that will enter the market in February, that is, in a few weeks, are about 15 – 25% more powerful. If we consider that the “search giant” will release its new flagship only in October, that is, at the end of 2019, the new product will definitely receive the title of the worst smartphone of the year, at least in terms of price and quality.

The only thing that could theoretically save Google Pixel 4 from failure is just some kind of revolutionary camera that turns out to be a better solution from Huawei, Apple, Sony, Xiaomi and other brands. However, it is hard to believe in this, because the search giant has been using conservative technologies and components for so many years. This leads to the fact that all of its flagships are much less interesting to buyers than those from other manufacturers, where much more options are available for less money.

Earlier it was reported that the operating system Android 10.0 Q, which will be directly out of the box installed on the flagship phone, Google Pixel 4, will leave smartphones without mobile Internet and voice communications.

Until January 27, inclusive, everyone has a unique opportunity to get Xiaomi Mi AirDots wireless headphones for free, spending only 2 minutes of their personal time.
